Riding UK to Malaga?

A few days ago I was out on my road bike in Kidderminster, Worcestershire and I caught up with a guy riding a bike clearly loaded up for a long journey. I asked him where he was off to and he said Malaga!

At that point I had to turn off so I wished him luck and we went separate ways. Does anybody know who this was and how he might be getting on with this epic trip!!??

    If he was getting the ferry to Bilbao that's really not so far - about 600 miles or so. A comfortable two week tour then a flight home.

    It sounds like a good plan - Andalucia is just about the best place I've ever toured.

    I hope he was getting a ferry, any ferry.
