At first I thought it was a funny looking dog, but once I got a little closer, I was surprised to see that it was a deer.
Just thought I'd share this! Another one of the joys of mountain biking!

Seen allsorts up there! You get deer, lots of sheep that escape onto the crags, lizards, snakes, and accross the valley there is a pair of peacocks that make a very weird noise!

I saw a deer at sherwood pines in Nottingham. I didnt even no they were in these parts. I saw him...he saw me....we shared a moment, then he hopped off.0

I haven't seen any lizards or snakes, but I saw a pretty cool looking frog/toad too yesterday.
Yeah, it's pretty damp...and I can't see that changing this year. There's just nowhere for the water to go in some of the places.0 -

Won't be long before the big freaky fungi come out too - they grow like wildfire in Wharny in the damp!0

we get loads of deer round this way, its always a real treat to see them running across the airfield.0
