Hi All,
I recenlty bought a bike 2ndhand, the bike is great but I was giving the bike a service and noticed the spokes seemed a bit slack compared to my old bike.
The wheels are DT swiss Ex5.1D rims on DT 340 hubs
The bike is a sant cruz blur LT
As I'm planning on racing next weekend I was hoping to find out what the spoke tension should be so I can ask my local bike shop to check the spokes out with a guage?
Thanks
Ronan

The local bike shop will know the tension they should be at0

usually the gauges (at least the cheap park tools one) come with a chart to give you the idea of what the tension should be.0

Thanks,
should have added tha the local shop won't know
They have the tools for the job but their idea of a mountain bike is a raleigh activator0 -
A decent builder will not need to know a tension, and will judge by hand and ear.
WHy not have a go yourself? Turn all the nipples a quarter turn and see how they are after that? Nothing to lose.0
