Road Rides around Cape Town

I am going to be in Cape Town around Christmas on my honeymoon. The weather should be just right for good riding. Does anybody know of any good (safe) rides around and about Cape Town or better still know of cycle guides or clubs in the area?

Outside the city centre, in the Newlands and Constantia areas, you should find some very enjoyable riding with relatively little in the way of heavy traffic. You could also go out to Hout Bay and go up to Chapman's Peak (on the route followed by the annual Argos ride).

Would thoroughly recommend Chapmans Peak, the views are stunning
