    I've been watching this and really enjoying every minute.

    I get a different version of ESPN Classic (on Eutelsat 5 degrees East) and they're now showing TDFs from the mid nineties. Last night they had really extended coverage of Lance's first stage victory in 1993, complete with a solo Phil Liggett commentary and it was great. Although some of the episodes are like highlight shows, this one was pretty much unedited, so they went right through all of the jersey presentations, including all of the wearers having to take a swig out of a can of Coca Cola.

    Of course, most of the riders didn't wear helmets and the bikes look really retro, so it's all very different to watching this year's Tour. Tonight it's 1996 and they've just shown Boardman win the prologue to get the yellow jersey.
