Routes near Witney

Live in Witney area Oxfordshire, can't seem to find any intermediate XC routes for my new Stumpy FSR expert!! Any route advice within 20 mins drive?

    Might be a bit more than 20mins drive, but worth it. There is good XC stuff all round this general area.

    I live near Combe. There are some bridleways that can make a decent ride around the Evenlode valley. Stonesfield (and the aptly named Stockey Bottom) to Charlbury using bridleway, around Pinsley wood outside Long Hanborough . Otherwise drive to the Ridgeway (if you have a car) or around Christmas Common near Watlington upon the Chilterns (about 30 minutes via the M40 to Lewknor).

    NormalD, I often like riding around in the Goring/Pangbourne area too. A little of everything, some easy trails, some tough ones too.

    I live near Bicester where mother earth is perfectly flat.

    Heading towards Wantage/Ridgeway, or maybe up to near Banbury/Warks might be worth your while.
