wider-fitting road shoes

I have small (female) feet, but they are relatively wide.
Can anyone suggest a road-shoe brand that comes up wide? I can't buy street shoes easily, as the right length tends to squash my feet.
It would need to be a size 38/39 and some road shoes don't go down this small. Also, I have two pairs of Specialized Body Geometry (one female specific, the other unisex) and I don't really get on with either, so "other brands" would be welcome.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will investigate Northwave and Bonty.
I checked out the Sidi Megas, but they only go down to a size 40.
Do you all get numb feet if you ride in too-narrow shoes? I thought my feet were cold, until I found my feet were still numb in summer, riding in insulated MTB boots.0 -
i got Specialized for about 50 quid - i usually need long to get the width but these fitted well despite my duck-like feet0
