Looking for good routes - dordogne nr Bergerac

I will be staying in a house in Villefranche-de-Lonchat about 44 miles North West of Bergerac. Last year we were about 80 km to the east. I found it hard to find decent trails and mostly they were very short bits of rocky trails with lots of road between them.

This year I am trying to avoid this and I am looking for longer off road routes which are technical and a bit more hardcore than the usual XC pootling.

Any decent routes or local knowlege would be much appreciated!

    Thanks Robert thats got a few decnt ones by the loks of it. Wish I was going back to where we stayed last year, North of Montegnac.

    Will report back with any other info I find.
