Tyler Hamilton - unluckiest man in cycling
Not only did he get done for homologous blood transfusions when he clearly was doing nothing wrong, but to crown it all, this year he tested positive for a banned substance contained in - wait for it - a homeopathic remedy for depression.
New interview with him on Competitor Radio

(In all seriousness, he seems a tragic and forlorn figure these days. Really wish he'd come clean on everything, it'd do him the world of good in the long run).

In that interview he says that he knew it contained DHEA, knew it was banned but didn't care because he felt he needed it. Not really unlucky is it?
I can't remember the details of his first offence how come he did nothing wrong? Didn't he have someone else's blood in him?0 -
He knew what he was doing, he was just in a bad place, and didn't care what the consequences were.
I liked him, but ultimately he was found guilty of doping twice (whatever the circumstances may be), and on at least one of those occasions, he knew what he was doing.
So as much as I like him, you can't say he was unlucky.0 -
