After reading some good reviews of the Glentress Trail Centre I'm planning to take a trip up there.
I have a week off in early November (not really got a choice in the matter, its a case of use it or loose it) Anyway, as it will be a bit nippy at that time of year I don't want to camp so I'm looking for either a Hotel (with a decent bar) or a Pub with rooms, I'll also need safe bike storage.
I'll be travelling alone so I'd rather be somewhere that will be busy.
Any recommendations?

It's Glentress and the only place worth stopping is right at the trail head at the Glentress Hotel.

Worth trying Glentrail House, it's actually in Innerleithen but that's just 3 miles from Glentress (they're only 750 metres from the trailhead at Innerleithen). Never stayed there, not much point for an Edinburgh boy but Rich is a top guy, huge bike enthusiast, not just a rider either, he does trailbuilding with us at glentress too.
Secure bike storage? Ohhh yes,

We've been to a B&B called Glede Knowe for the past two years in Innerleithen, and it's fantastic.
The Glentress Hotel is right next to the trail centre though, and the food there is fantastic. I can particularly recommend the steak, om nom nom!0
