Hi All

I think I need to get a longer crank for my new tribike. I really feel like I am losing some leverage when I am pedaling. My road bike is a 170MM compact and my tri bike is a 165mm standard. Road bike is 700c with 12-26 and tri bike is 650c with 11-23. I am 5'4'' with a 29 inch inseam. Rather than stick with the Ultegra SL that I have, I am considering the Zipp VumaQuad or Dura Ace.

Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations? Does 5MM really make that big of a difference? I feel like it does, but maybe its just in my head.

I'm 5'11" and I run 170-175mm cranks and cant reallt tell much differnce to be honest.
I would say that for your height 170mm is perfectly ok.

I really think its in your head.

As you are 5'4" - I think going over 170 would be a little OTT ? I think most frames in your size would downsize the cranks anyway ?

I'm 6' and ride 170s - I've had 172.5 in the past - you cant notice any difference.
