1979 falcon- mystery tubing help please

I just bought a lovely Falcon road bike with mostly campag equipment. The Nuovo Record rear mech is dated 1979. It looks a lot like the bike on the classic rendezvous site here:
http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Britis ... d_road.htm
The strange thing about it is that it isn't made from 531. The frame sticker looks like this:

The whole bike with everything on it weighs in at just over 10.5kg so it isn't at all heavy for its age. The tubes are butted- you can tell by how the sound changes when you tab them. The ride is very much like my 531db Woodrup of similar proportions- a bit sharper if anything.
Does anyone recognise the tubing decal? Or can anyone identify what model of Falcon this is?
Any help would be massively appreciated
It has the designed by ernie clements badge on the front.
It's equipped with Nuovo Record rear mech and cranks, and almost everything else is (nuovo) Gran Sport i think. The rims are Mavic Monthlery Pro with Campy low flange hubs, even has Campy Pedals and seatpost.
The stem bars and stem are Sakae SR racing models.
There are hardly any braze-ons- all bolt on Campy guides (except the brake guides are Dura -Ace which i find a bit odd.)
The forged dropouts are unmarked at the back, and are Tange on the chrome forks.

Do you mean this bike? eBay
Sounds exactly the same (except for the just bought it thing! )
I'm tempted to bid on it myself - looks nice. But I get the feeling the price is going to go quite a bit higher yet given the number of bids it has already.
I was a bit puzzled by the tubing thing - I'll have a look at the link from NervexProf as well out of interest.Never be tempted to race against a Barclays Cycle Hire bike. If you do, there are only two outcomes. Of these, by far the better is that you now have the scalp of a Boris Bike.0 -
yeah, just bought, now selling.

having forumed and googled away for a horribly long time i think that the tubing is tange champion no.20
