They are both pretty similar - slightly better spec for the Orbea (plus the lifetime warranty)
Good frames both of them, should serve you well both of them
Is the Orbea Onix the new one or the 2008 one?x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

yea its the 2008 one on special offer
is it correct to say that the scott would be a slightly stiffer harsher ride?0 -
IMO the bira 2009 is better looking and not a lot more.SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES; NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS0

Can't speak for the Scott but I wouldn't say that the Orbea has a harsh ride. Its certainly reponsive and controlled, espescially for climbing. The Orbeas geometry is the same as the old Orcas but they use a more comfortable weave of carbon to dampen out road buzz. The other advantage is the exclusivity factor of the Orbea, you see plenty of Scotts but few Onix's, although that might change as I see more and more of them around and if Asterloza wins many more races the brand will get even more popular.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?
