East End or thereabouts Training Rides?

Hi there,

I've recently moved to the UK and brought my bikes with me.

Now I am in search of some weekend warriors to wheel suck.

I live in Whitechapel in the East End of London.

Does anyone know of any clubs that ride out of this area or reasonably close by?

The Richmond crew sounds like fun but the idea of riding to Richmond to even start a ride and be there by 9 is a touch off putting.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    I think the Two Wheels Good bike shop run a ride out from their shop in Crouch End- I thnik 9am on Sunday....

    Here's a route you can build upon in the meantime, quite short at 35miles; it forms part of one of my routes that starts and finishes in East Finchley.

    Thanks alot for those Simon.

    I'll maybe try out the shorter one first, I feel I'll be doing it at 10mph as I'll spend most of my time looking at map and cue notes.

    I wouldn't mind meeting up to cover either of those routes above this Saturday, or any other Saturday, if you like (weather permitting)? Save you the map-reading...
