Hey guys,

I have recently started building up a commuter bike for my new job that I will be riding to next week, the main reason for me was to have a bike that I can ride and forget about. By that I mean a bike that can be locked up without worrying it will be stolen, and that is mechanically simple enough for riding through rough weather without needing a thorough cleaning every night (or week in my case).

After seeing some pretty expensive road bikes on this part of the forum I am wondering what others priorities are for thier commuter bikes, so guys let me have it :D

That it works. :) See my sig. I sprayed and my built it myself (forks/headset fitting excluded). It's got a hand-me-down groupset. It's also now got reflective tape all over it.
    FCN 2-4.

    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."
