Ok misplaced keys on train last night when drunk. Now have one bike locked up with no key to unlock it and two locks I can open that I normally use for my commuter bike.

So in market for new locks.

One for shed to lock up mtb - needs to be longish chain/cable style and pretty secure.

One for commuter, ideally a pretty decent D lock style.

Any suggestions/recommendations. I dont want to spend a fortune!

a very very very heavy duty industrial circular saw. I took mine to my dads work to get it done and it went through 3 blades and about 2 hours of my time.

I thought these one could be beaten by nibbling each individual strand of the weave with side cutters?

    Might take a while though?

Cut through it with a hacksaw in a disappointingly quick 20 minutes - hacksaw dead but went through easy. Admittedly I had a work bench to rest on but there you go.

It was only a 20-30 quid specialized number.

I replaced it with a 40 quid Abus chain and lock combo thing.
