Morning,
Haven't posted in ages but this morning little bout of road rage has sparked my curiousity.
I was waiting at lights in the middle of the left-hand lane, which turns into a bus/taxi/cycle lane after the lights. Then some guy in a wedding limo starts to pull in towards me. So I glowered a bit and he stopped and glowered back. The I shouted - purely so he could hear me - that I was in the lane already and I objected to him pulling in on top of me. I didn't swear at all. Then he started laughting at me so I got cross and gave him the coffee beans. Cue lights to green and a pleasant spin to the lights with him just off my mud guard. I went on in the bus lane, he pulled in towards me, wound down his window and said: 'You're under warning.' I said: 'From you?'. I'll admit, I didn;t try to keep the incredulity out of my voice. He replied:' No, from the police.'
Now, unless he was an ageing copper under cover as a limo driver, I'm guessing this was bobbins. But did I break the law at any point? And was anything I did more illegal than him using his car in a threatening way?

Did you make a note of his licence number?
I'd be inclined to report him to the nearest police station for impersonation. He's obviously not shown you any form of identification to indicate he's a police officer, off duty or otherwise.0 -
You shoulda just laughed back in his face!Do not write below this line. Office use only.0

Aidy - Cheers, but I'm inclined to leave it. Especially as I'm not sure if I've techinically broken the law or not. I suspect a surly plod would be more more hassle than I want.
Headhunter - I didn't manage a belly laugh but I did smirk incredulously.0 -
