I've read a bit about that, it's meant to be quite good. An alternative SCR evening out for the cultured amongst us perhaps?

Is it just me or does the guy in the background bear more than a passing resemblance to IP

Yes, it does look interesting but it only runs for another week, so you'd better be quick. Haven't seen a review though...

    I'd be interested.

    How about Thursday next week?

He certainly doesn't look like Lance Armstrong. On the other hand, the Pantani actor is disconcertingly, well, pantani-like. Or maybe they just got lucky with the picture. Wonder if the Ullrich actor gets to eat cake...

Thurday's a very remote possibility for me, Wednesday or Friday would suit me better.

I could do Friday but depending on where and at time the show is I might be able to do Wedneday - I have a non-negotiable appointment in Deptford until 7 each Wednesday.

It's in Cavendish Gate, which I think is SW7 at 7.30, so definitely can't do Wednesday.

How about Friday, it might even be possible to squeeze in a few drinks at the Morpeth beforehand :lol::lol::lol:

Bike locking might be an issue though, I'm still without a commuter untill I find a frame for the fixie build

    You'd never find it

I might be kind and let you follow me again, after all us youngsters have to look after the old and infirm

Alas, I can't do Friday, or Wednesday for that matter. Blast.

Ah well, I don't really know what le Tour is all about anyway!

So is it just Rich and I going to this?

We'll be going next Friday, does anyone else want to come along? Let me know soon as I'll try and book tickets this afternoon.
  • I'm checking with a couple of guys at work. If they are interested - and can do Friday - I'll let you know. Cheers for pointing it out. I'll have to pretend to be middle-class and high-brow for an evening but I'll do my best :D

  • So Corriander and Rich, how was it?

My mate wasn't sure due to other commitments and by the time he was able to confirm Friday was all sold out. By the time I was able to check how I was fixed Sat, that was sold out too  :( It looked really good. While I'm sad that I messed up, I'm glad it was at least a sell out.

It was very good, and the rivalry between Ulrich, Armstrong and Pantani was very well portrayed. They really captured the excitement of the Tour, and what really worked for me was that it was a performance space rather than a stage play, which gave the actors far greater freedom of movement.

I'm crap at reviews so I'll let Coriander fill in the gaps, but safe to say it was well worth seeing.
