i've followed people's advise on bikeradar and i've just purchased a specialized roubaix comp 08 ,
my question is ;-
shall i swap my mavic aksuims on the old speicalized allez ( done about 500 mile on them) over to the new roubaix comp (about the same milage) ?.
they both roughly retail at the same price but im unsure as to which is the better quality wheel.

I have the same bike - I removed my RS10 wheels after experiencing a rear wheel wobble at 40 mph descending Holme Moss. These wheels are far too flimsy for a frame of this quality, out of the saddle efforts produced brake rub (I weight 12 and half stone). Your Mavic Aksiums would be a sturdier choice albeit heavier, I opted for a pair of Bontrager Race LItes which have been bullet-proof, are reasonably light and fast rolling.
