Wiggle - Great customer service

Hi all,

Just thought I'd share, in case anyone was thinking of using them. About 2 weeks ago I ordered a jersey from Wiggle for delivery to the UK (a relative will bring it over for me to save the postage). However, I put the wrong flat number on the delivery address. I informed Wiggle of this, but they said the item had already been sent. So I got my relative to go to the flat, but they said nothing had arrived there either.
I email ed Wiggle again and they got back to me today to say that because nothing's been delivered to either address they will send a new jersey or give a refund. I've opted for the jersey; all they ask is I send one back if the original turns up!

I'm happy!

I do find them pretty good - had one hiccup but it was solved okay.
Chainreaction are usually good too - as long as there's not a problem.

Trouble is - neither do Specialized kit! Tend to use Evans for that (or my LBS).

agree with both posts above - their customer service is awesome but why don't they sell specialized kit? - have they had a fall-out or something - they used to stock it,

oh and also - they used to be best prices around but are no longer so - that said, if they are close I still give them the business just because of the excellent customer service should something go amiss.

My Garmin squad Pearl Izumi jersey was 25 quid - not too bad.

Ordererd a Met Terra helmet last night, it was £47.99, that seemed to be the best price I could find it for.

I returned my Campag textran water proof bibtights and jacket on wednesday as they leaked leaving me soaked on a 45 miles ride last friday.
They were about a year old and wiggle let me return them and gave me an instant refund.
I've had faultless service in over 3 years of using wiggle and always had excellent customer service.
Prices are a little high at the moment but I'd rather pay a little more for less hassle if it goes pear shaped.

Today's great Wiggle experience: I emailed and asked them to price match some Shimano M076 shoes with Merlin, 2 hours later they emailed to say yes, reducing the price by £8, then got a further £5 off with the voucher for changing my newsletter preferences. Final price £44!

So whilst prices may not always be the best they are prepared to price match.

Brilliant, and I know my shoes will be with me tomorrow.

They are so good they keep making me spend  . . . I guess great service pays dividends for them!

I have always found Wiggle to be excellent in the 7 years I have been using them I have never had an issue. The only thing is that they seem to stock less lines these days. Chainreaction are very good too and have a better range of stock especially for MTB. I do find their website poorly laid out and their server could do with an upgrade too. But why do neither stock Specialized anymore as I love their Equipment range.

'nother happy Wiggle customer. I think their prices are in the right region most of the time but customer service is simply immense. Took my wetsuit back after 6 months as some of the inner tape was lifting ... no questions asked, refunded me, then gave me the same discount I had off another suit .. compare that to appalling service from SBR where it took over 3 months and about 15 e-mails to supply a bottle of anti-fog!

I'd pay the extra few quid from Wiggle every time ... and SBR can .........................

I think I need to add some balance to this thread!
I'm a happy Wiggle customer most of the time. They answer emails and delivery is quick. Any issues on returns have always been sorted out quickly. However, they are so bleeding unflexible when it comes to their bikes. I wouldn't normally think of getting a complete bike online, but the measurements matched my requirements with the exception of the handlebars. Now if I'm spending £5k, practically any bike shop would swap the bars for a different width if needed. Wiggle won't. This is despite the fact the bikes aren't in stock, they come direct from the distributor and are built up by Wiggle. They said I can order and pay for the wider bars and they will fit them when they build the bike. I don't understand it. The bars the bike comes with are sold on the site seperately anyway, so they could just take the narrower ones off the bike and put them back into stock.
Anyhoo, their loss. I'll keep using them for bits and pieces, but buy a bike elsewhere.

Sorry but how can they remove them from the bike and sell them on?

As they came on the bike they can't sell them as new.

Bought 2 bikes from Wiggle with no hassles at all and very very please with them.

Sorry, but I think you misunderstood. The bike in question is not kept in stock by Wiggle, it comes to them in components and they build it up. So, the handlebars could simply have been swapped for another pair of the same that they do keep in stock. I don't think this is unreasonable. I asked the same question of another online retailer and they said 'absolutely no problem at all to change them!.
