You can also try the getalife app which simulates what it might be like if you weren't staring at your phone all day.0

to be honest google maps is rather good i've not found any other apps to work really terribly well not helped by the iphones OS single task only choice.
but a big screen screen phone when in reception with google maps is great for sanity checking 'i am on the right road?' though i rarely need it now.0 -

You mean you don't run your cycle computers in kph mode? It makes all the numbers bigger, so you feel like your going faster.0 -
I always use km/h, after all if it's good enough for the TdF....

TdF use it as thats what most of europe does, personally i know what MPH feels like, and what i use when driving and distances between places.0 -
I thought the brake light one was pretty cool, in a nerdy kind of way. Pretty much useless in practice I expect but a nice idea.0
