Hi, im fitting my junior ts on my bike and was wondering what is better/stronger; to have spacers in between stem and crown or between crown and headset or does this not make a difference?

thanks :)

    Hi,

Spacers should go either above or below the stem. All on top of the headtube. Put spacers above and/or below depending on what height you want your bars.

I wouldn't (if reading the above correctly) put them between the crown and bottom of the headset :?

First read whatMarz say is the Max distance allowed between the crowns.

then you need to see if the top crown will catch the frame at any time.

Also you need to consider the clamping positions on the legs.

these issues are more important that where the spacers are.
