Guys,
I'm looking for a rucksack (rather than a small pad bag) to go on my seat post. I want a rucksack as I need to carry shirts to work too. I can't fit panniers due to the slightly unusual design of my bike....
Can anyone recommend a kit with fixing clamps / rucksack?
Shameless self promotion welcome as my back is crying out for me to take action today!!
Thanks all

Rixen & Kaul do rucksacks that work with their Klickfix system- sounds like just what you're looking for...

Got one of these last time round. The rucksac thingy is pretty poorly made and only useful for carrying rerally light gear. Once you put a kit kat in it, it barely takes the weight.

As someone used to wearing packs for hill walking [~20lb], I have to say that the pack ought not to be hurting your back at all.
If you can't find a pannier related fix, and continue with backpacks, find one with a strong/wide waist strap. This strap is actually supposed to go round you and rest on top of your hips. The shoulder straps should only carry about a third of the pack weight. In my case, my pack is too short for this, so the waist strap goes round my waist, but it does still carry 2/3 of the pack weight, and once sitting on the bike, I hardly feel any weight on my shoulders/back.
Also consider the possibility that it's not the pack hurting your back? Do you ever ride without it, and if so, do you still get back pain then?
Just my 2c...
