How the hell did you manage that?0

Did you follow the maximum PSI ? It seems a bit weird that 3 have gone so quickly.Start Weight 18st 13lbs March 2009
17st 10lbs August 2009
17st 4lbs October 2009
15st 12lbs December 2010
Final planned weight 12st 7lbs0 -
i dont know how i managed it. 2 aqctually blew on me. 40psi - so not silly pressures. one was a rock i assume...not sure about the other.
third one, I checked when i got home, held to the light and could see through the sidewall where the "panaracer" logo was raised.

That's a shocker, these tyres are tough, never get punctures with them or splits at all.
You got any photos?0 -
not of the two I lost on the trail but yes of the one with the light coming through the sidewall - will pop it up later when I get home from work.0

that's sletchy as hell! wonder if it's been a bad batch/compound. sounds daft but did you buy them from the same shop? maybe let them know too, it could be the entire batch they have is faulty?0
-
Yes, contact the shop as your contract of sale and any guarantee lies with them.0
-
Yes...bought them altogether - So could be a batch all suffering from the same problems. Trouble being I no longer have the receipt. And two are in bins in the middle of Afan. But I do have the one left. Whcih you can see is almost new from the tread on the tyre.
Have I just been unlucky? Have others had any problems with these?0 -
The panaracer with the seethrough sidewall...
The one of three I managed to photograph before throwing away in disgust!

Jesus, that is terrible! I would be pretty pis$ed off too! Certainly worth contacting both the shop and panaracer.0
