Taping bars all the way to stem - Yes or No ?

Hi All

Just had my self a new set of Wing style carbon bars. They look nice on the stem with the flat wing parts showing with graphics.

I have seen some people not wrap this part in tape. Is this just for show or personal thing ?

What do you do and do you have any pics ??

Personally I have never taped along the flats - I go just up past the hoods.

(note - hoods are now back to black )

Looking good, think i will do the same for the 'looks'. Always wear gloves anyway.

Those sort of bars aren't designed to be taped all the way to the stem - or even the normal couple of inches either side.

They're shaped for handholds as it is so tape would make them pretty bulky. Most people stop at the hoods.
