I've seen a couple of snippets of interviews with Brailsford on ITV4.
On the first (on Sat or Sun?) he said they'd been talking to a world-class cyclist about joining Team Sky but once they saw his blood passport they walked away.
On the second, in last night's (Mon) show, when asked if he was interested in Contador joining Sky, he gave a very immediate 'No', and did not elucidate, at least not on air.
Who was he talking about in the first part, and why no explanation of not 'wanting' Contador?
