Ribble Website Problems?

I was just trying to have a look at the Ribble web site to check out their bike builder and special offer bikes, but have had problems - I could only get it to work using Internet Explorer on a PC - it didn't work with Safari or OmniWeb on a Mac, and Firefox on both Mac and PC! I know that IE is the dominant browser with about 65% of the total market, but it's worrying that their web site only works with one specific browser on one operating system! I doubt I'll be getting anything from them then...

Dave.

Yea if you want to use bikebuilder or look at special offer bikes or groupsets then you need to use IE. Shoddy site, they are in process of having a new one built though.

Not on my Mac Book Pro, I'm running 4.0.2 ;). Are you on Windows or Mac?

Interestingly, I just had a look, and the bike builder seems to work now :). Just the special offer bikes to go... :).

  • Glad it's not just me. Firefox certainly doesn't work for me (and IE7 does). I recall posting or started a thread about this some time ago, but don't recall anyone responding.

I'm an Opera user and I discounted Ribble when I was looking for a new bike last year simply because I couldn't access their site properly.
