GT Avalanche 1.0 alternatives

Hi,

I recently signed up for the Cycle2Work scheme which means I need to purchase from Halfords. After some research, I'd settled on the GT Avalanche 1.0 but Halfords are now telling me that their suppliers are out of stock and they cannot order any more.

Any thoughts on what I should consider as an alternative in the same price range (£500-700)? Halfords are suggesting the GT Aggressor range - but I'm concerned they are pushing this purely because it's in stock!

    From what I've heard the Agressors aren't bad.

    How about the Carrera Fury? It's on offer at the moment.
