Silly question I know  , but how do I know how long my stem is?

i.e. where do I measure from / to? Is it the total length, or from the centres of the clamps etc.etc?

Mine is a Ritchey stem, and I can't seem to find any 'defined' points on it that measure either 90, 100, 110mm etc.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

but I don't blame you if you just have a pop at me for being daft :lol::lol:

    Danke nicklouse

I had done a thread search, but couldn't find any info.

I take it it's centre to centre, which means mine must be 100mm.

    Cheers :D

Si78 - if it's an OEM stem, provided you know the make, model and year of your bike, you could hit it up on the internet, and have a look what was fitted out of the factory!

Just Google'd it for you, looks like your stem is indeed 100mm! Good guess!

    Nice one pal,
I tried Googling, but I couldn't get the stem length :?

I'm thinking of getting a white stem, so just wanted to know what size to go for.
