Signs that the Tour is clean?

We're complaining that the riders aren't aggressive, but they're saying the pace is tiring. Wiggo's near the front. And Menchov's nowhere. Does this suggest the race is clean?

How about Boonen? Could his form be cleanliness-related?

    Someone comes up with reasons why the Tour is clean every year

    No aggression is due to no reward. The stages so far haven't been ones that a lot of time can be made up on.

    WIggins near the front shows that there has been few proper mountain stages

    Menchov used his blood supplies to win the Giro

    Agreed. Let's wait until the Tour starts next year to find out all the potential positives from this year (given the trend of any controversial doping stories being released days before the Tour starts)
