Are bicycles covered on house insurance, because i have just bought a meta 5.5.2 and if it gets nicked (being from newcastle it probably will) i dont want to lose out on all that cash

Mine is covered on house and contents insurance.
Only adds a couple of quid to the premium every month.
Covered in the house, and out and about.
You have to declare what it is, and how much it's worth.
My insurance would insure bikes up to a couple of grand.
I added a bit to the value of the bike, to cover lock and all the various extra bits I've fitted to the bike.Why has my sig been removed by the admins???0
