I know its kinda sad and that but does anyone colour coordinate their kit ?
LIke a blue lid and gloves because theres blue on your bike? Or anodized spacers that have to be the right colour? I didn`t bother before but now it kinda bugs me.
I`ve just bought a new carbon Zaskar and my totally way out helmet and gloves `don`t look right`.

I think it`s just an excuse to buy new gear. :P

    Colour coordinate bike - ok.
    Colour coordinate kit - ok.
Colour coordinate both - er, no. Just, no.

Then again, my bike is black, and everything does with black. :?
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

    Got any pics???

    Have a predominantly black bike.

I wear black altura shorts, black north face wicking t-shirts, black specialized spd shoes, black altura waterproof jacket, black gloves, have a black ruck-sack, and for a bit of variation a silver giro helmet, with a black peak ofcourse

Not trying to co-ordinate, just like black 8)

And it's not too bad at night either... jacket, ruck-sack and shoes have reflective bits on them that are barely noticable in the day, but chuffing bright at night.
Why has my sig been removed by the admins???

Nowt wrong with a bit of colour co-ordination. Im not ashamed to say I picked up an Adidas tennis T-shirt in the same lime green/black as my Genesis. 8) , all my bike gear is co-ordinated

I would just feel all wrong if I wasnt colour co-ordinated. My golf gear is all co-ordinated, so is my football training gear & I buy my boots to match our strips.

Have I broke the world record for the most uses of co-ordinated in a post?

I tend to try not to go out looking like I got dressed in the dark, but have never thought about trying to co-ordinate my wardrobe with my bike. It's stuff like that that will end up getting you kicked out of the Man club

Once you start co-ordinating your clothes with you bike, it's only a short step before you are shaving your legs and wearing full team lycra, complete with sponsors to match your road bike. No going back from there.

No, I don't colour co-ordinate my clothes with my bike either. Although, my bike is white, which does kind of match my graveyard tan!

I love co-ordinating my colour scheme, i think its partly OCD though, it just makes me feel better, haha

I totally colour coordinated my bike, or monochrome coordinated, there's hardly a part on it that's not black or white. But I don't colour coordinate the rest of my gear, I just buy stuff that I like the looks or spec of.

I just saw a pair of sidi shoes on Chainreactioncycles reduced by £60. Top shoes.

The bit that bugs me is they`re black and red.

I need to get out more

i pretty much wear all black when i ride but only cause thats what colour clothes i have, i rarely buy actual mtb kit and wear normal casual kit.

i do like to colour code my bikes though, nothing too bizarre and try to keep it a little discreet but its fun if not particularly functional.

I'm really bad with colours... can't even decide what colour to paint my room, so buying new stuff for my bikes gonna be a pain (09 Prophet 2)... :?

Cool set up above. Its nice to have the kit if you can.

I had a Fat chance hardtail a few years back and nearly everything was a different colour. I had a blue kooka stem, King hubs, one blue one apple green. A red King aheadset, purple skewers and syncros black post a Paul Triclour rear mech and a blue front mech and White brothers black and gold fork.
    Looked great! :P

Now I`m Mr Black and silver but I`m buying a blue jacket :?:

In a kind of half-hearted way on the bike- for instance when I got some new Hope QRs I thought I might as well get the red ones to go with my hubs since they had them, but I'm a long way from getting matching spacers, seat clamps or whatever just for the hell of it.

Clothing I tend to stick to black or fairly understated colors so no probs really. That said I rashly bought some red bibshorts and then later got a jersey to match- lesson learned, stick to black shorts and then it's not a problem!
