Hadrians Wall - Coast to Coast route

doing this route at the beginning of October. Anyone done it before? Whats it like. Talking to the guy at work who's organising the trips reckons there is fair bit of road riding involved, so might be a bit dull

You can do coast to coast off road, i think there was a route in MBR a few months ago. There are a few ways of doing it.

IIRC most of Hadrians wall route is FPs sp a lot of road riding is probably correct
Just checked on Memory Map all of Hadrians wall is a Footpath,although it has a minor road that runs parallel to it.I've been up there a few times and the road bit is straight as an arrow in places(good old Romans)but undulating.
Maybe its this route?
