Time for New Criminal Offence re Bikes?

It pains me to see people riding along on bikes with wheels that move more sideways than round, with chains that have never seen a can of oil, with mudguards rubbing on wheels, with tyres that do not know what air is etc

We have offences of animal cruelty and child cruelty. In the case of animal cruelty you can be banned from keeping pets as well ( note you can carry on keeping kids though!!!!)

Perhaps we should have offences of cruelty to bikes for the sort of treatment in my opening paragraph and such people convicted of this should be banned from keeping bikes for a set period unless they have undertaken a mechanics course

I've been under the impression you're rarely anything else. I kind of agree in principle, but worry that your motivation is purely drumming up business for whatever lawyery type stuff it is you do.

I don't do any fee earning work, so new laws or not do not affect my income

It'll never work. Every time it gets to Court the defendent will simply plead he's been framed.

I don't want to hear another squeak out of you, you're already far too lubricated.
We should lock up those that pedal this filth.

It's going to get crowded outside at this rate

These people are in the bottom bracket of society.

    I mean wheely, some people.

I blame KB for the exodus, it all stems from him...
