Pointless review scores

I've mentioned this in the past, but your final score seems to be a number pulled from out of a hat.
I mean, seriosuly, the Marzocchi 44 fork review states that it fell apart during testing, and was an all round piece of rubbish.
But you still gave it 2.5 out of 5?
What the hell would something have to do to get a score of 1? Kill your firstborn? End the world?

It was recently re reviewed in MBUK, where it scored 5/10 for performance and 4/10 for value. I think the words need updating on BR. It seemed good in some ways, but let down in others while the QR fork faired better.0

Still 5/10 and 4/10 are only sligtly below average scores, whereas the fork, especially at that price, is fricking terrible.0

Lol, yes, many hate it! It was retested as the 1st one was deemed faulty. Had some good traits, but many niggles.0

the tests also need test dates in full. so you can see which came first if there are more than one."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Erm, This is the second, follow-up review
Compare it to the original review, here
They both get the same overall score. Can you honestly not see that 2.5 out of 5 is an average score, and that the first fork was diabolically bad?
But, even after it's improved, it still gets the same score?
Here's another suggestion, scrap the 5-star system, and just give the text review.0
