Kiwi in Yorkshire.....
Hey guys and gals,
I'm a New Zealand mtber and I'm going to be over visiting the missus' family for a month or so in Aug/September. I'll be staying in Otley for a lot of the time and as I'll have my bike with me I'm hoping to hook up with some local riders to hit some trails (I particularly like the look of the trails getting built at Stainburn).
I know its a month or so away, but unfortunately due to trips planned to Scotland, Ireland and Majorca, about the only days I have free are from Tues 18th Aug till Friday 21st Aug. If anyone was heading out to the trails on those days and was passing through Otley with a space on their bike rack I'd really like to hear from you
I'll be riding a 6'' travel Coilair and am a competent technical rider, but a cruisy XC mission would be all good too. I'll chat to the guys at Chevin Cycles when I arrive in town too...
Cheers,
Matt
PS. If all else fails, would it be feasible to ride out to Stainburn from Otley?? I'm only party familiar with the area...

Cool, thats about 8km in 21st century money, so easily doable on the big bike!
Always good to ride with some locals though...0 -
The trailbuilders of Stainburn can be found here: http://singletraction.frankencrank.com/phpBB3/
They do quite a few regular rides, mostly on natural terrain & some do live in the Otley area.0
