Sorry for being a noob, but how come there is never a British national champion jersey? Does the title even exist?

Because Kristan House won who rides for Rapha Condor who aren't a pro tour team.

No national jersey in the TDF for GB
  • This year's champion is Kristian House, he's with a small team & not in the Tour de France - if the British champion is in the big races, you will see the jersey.

Oh right, that would explain it! Does anyone happen to have any pictures of it? Google doesn't seem to help.

Here is the 'lucky' jersey during the 2008 Giro d'Italia.

Try googling Nicole Cooke as she's won the women's jersey ten times and there'll be loads of pics of her wearing it. It's white with a red and blue band across the middle.

Maybe that's why I never noticed it before, probably thought it was the dutch jersey!

The Dutch jersey is the classic red/white/blue tricolore:

PS doing a Google image search on "moerenhout" is very... er... revealing 8)
