Im Looking for a Hardtail bike, for under £550. (If you know of a FS bike of that price let me know. =P) It must have Hydraulic Brakes, and decent forks! At the moment I cant decide between a Specialized Hardrock Pro 2010, and a Kona Cindercone. Any Help Greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Forget them all and get a Genesis Core 20. Last time I looked Square Wheels were doing it for £550 and Evans will also pricematch that.
Seriously though, try a few out and see which one feels best. Add these to your list:
Boardman Sport from Halfords
Carerra Fury from Halfords
Rockrider 8.1 from Decathlon
Commencal Combi now £420 from Leisure Lakes
Just remember, go for the bike that feels best not the one that represents best value, for instance, if you bought the Commencal because it was the cheapest with the discount but it wasn't the right bike it would be £420 badly spent.0 -
+1 for the Genesis Core 20! Best 550 i ever spent!Genesis Core 200

Specialized great package hard to fault.. bit too mainstream.
I bought a Gary Fisher Marlin in 2002 had maguara disc brakes and decent Rock shox all for under 500quid. Still running now with same components. Had to get crank bearings replaced but thats it. I would highly reccommend.Enduro- YT Capra AL1- 2016
Road- Boardman Team Carbon- 2010
XC- Gary Fisher Marlin- 20020 -
Gary Fisher Marlin 09 has mechanical disc brakes and the fork is not great for the money (compared to other similarly priced bikes).
Again though, if that feels like the right bike for you it's £550 well spent.0
