Am planning on doing this as my first race tomorrow night - it's been about six weeks since I got back on the bike, will be good to see how long I can hold on before getting dropped like day-old bread. Anyone else planning on riding this?

    No one?

    I feel lonely... :(

  • Now you know how I felt after three laps a fortnight ago.

Doesn't matter how many people are actually there, I'll still be riding alone, I guess <g>

My better half said she might come out and watch. She was worried about being bored for an hour. That, of course, is my *best case* scenario (as opposed to, say, being done in 20 min or so...)

I'll be riding at Hog Hill - a little nearer. LVRC race starts at 6, which suits me more.

I've also heard Hog Hill (and Hillingdon) are good places for beginners to dip their toes in to the racing waters? May have to try them out some time, although I suspect I would have a hard time making a 6pm start on a normal weekday...
