I like Konas, they have always seemed to be good frames to me. Nice to see the slippery slope is luring you already !Short hairy legged roadie FCN 4 or 5 in my baggies.

Have you seen what the same guy is wearing on the Surly Pacer, Instigator and 1x1 frames? One too many falls without a bike-helmet I think!0

That's what I have bought on the cheap earlier this year. I like to think of it as resistance training. I get on my Felt and feel all floaty! Still good fun to ride it fixed, scary off road though.Short hairy legged roadie FCN 4 or 5 in my baggies.

You think the Tricross is heavy???
Good God. I thought the damn thing was a featherweight.
It's no bloody wonder you lot are so much faster than me.
That's me decided... I'm getting a Boardman Road bike in the CTW and stump up the extra £500Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

If you want to build your own then take at Planet-X Uncle John...he's mine @ 17lb less mud It'll go pretty much anywhere, and can take disc brakes as well as guards and racks if you are that way inclined. It's already been over to France, round the 3 Peaks and will be touring in northern Britain this Summer.
Be warned though, if you have a competitive streak then racing won't be far awaySC61.10a: FCN 3, with clip-on guards for winter
Uncle John: FCN ?? knobblies, or 'fat' slicks n guards
If you haven't tried these things, you should.
These things are fun, and fun is good.0 -
I call my Singlecross the Tank. Get a boardman roadie and fly up those hills. Losing a stone in weight makes a huge difference too!Short hairy legged roadie FCN 4 or 5 in my baggies.

Thats a bargain price. Last time I looked they were going for more than that. The current JtS has better brakes than mine as well.

Just been browsing for bikes on ebay (as you do when the wife's out), and came across this:

"Exactly."0 -
My emplyer has a discount arrangement with Wheelies Direct, and I can get 20% off their list prices.
Off to France tomorrow, then find out soon if I have a job, if I do it will be a Jake the Snake."Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0
