Bottle Cleaning Disaster

My brand new Specialized aero bottle (BTW a bargain at £8 including a cage) went in the dishwasher after its maiden voyage and aaarrrgh it's gone a bit orange. The culprit of course was some pasta sauce from some other items in the washer. How do I remove the offending tomato based residue? The bottle was previously white.

Well, you will use these fancy home appliances.

You're up with the technology round here if you have a washing-up bowl, most of us still use the communal stand pipe.

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Well there is at least one hi-tech facity in Hucknall - the Rolls-Royce facility :) Apart from that, I'm not so sure.

Leave it outside on a really bright sunny day. Always worked a treat on plastic plates when touring in Spain and eating lots of tomato based meals.

It may help, but the man's right - it'll never be the same again. Buy a new one.

I've got 2 clear bottles which I sometimes put nettle or green tea in and they're not clear anymore, more a murky browny/green colour, like a fish tank with algae on the side... It won't come off. Be careful with your bottles boys and girls

I've thrown out all the tins of Napolina. From now on, Italian is off the menu.

Think I might try a light dousing in bleach. For the bottle, I mean, on the outside only.
