Has anyone got any suggestions for the best looking Italian road frame - Shallow attitude I know - I use a Casati which looks pretty good but can anyone better this with some a proper flash git frame?

Haha! Researching frame cosmetics can't be left to chance - It needs a monster enquiry.
That Viner was mind-bogglingly light! Was very good looking too.
I couldn't imagine the price tag to match.
Am exploring getting a much more sporty ride to compliment my commuting/longer distance set-up.What wheels...? Wheelsmith.co.uk!0 -

Rarely seen in UK (if that is important to you!) - CBT Italia.
I had one of their '80s steel framed (Columbus SLX) steeds a few years ago - the equal of ANY Italian builder. They are still trading, but almost exclusively into their home market I think (but Forza Bikes seem to be able to get them).
And seemingly now only carbon offerings.d.j.

How about a Cinelli XL8R:

Or anything by Dario Pegoretti. Ironically, for the majority of top line frames these days, the 'Italian' element is no deeper than the paint - they're made in China including the Wilier Cento, Pinarello Prince and many others.
Besides, I still don't think you'd do any better that a Colnago EPS - read the review on Pez CyclingMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -

If you're in the market for a smaller frame, and you like retro look steel, how about this:

It's about my size but I don't think I could do with all that polishing and having to dry the chrome off every time I took it out in the wet, looks fantastic though I reckon.
