After you've indicated and changed lanes, do not swerve back into your original lane without any kind of warning or visual check.

Particularly when that lane has become a bus/cycle lane.

Particularly when you can't do it without crashing into the cyclist that's taken advantage of the clear lane.

    Yes, Vans not the best..... take it he was a White Van?

    They are only marginally below buses on my list of "most hated" on commutes.
    Taxi's, Chelsea Tractors, parked cars and the great british public are up there as well.

    Have to cycle up a dual carriageway and it is ALWAYS white vans that will NOT slow to wait for a gap in the overtaking lane and ALWAYS cut it far too close.

    If I was able to stop them, there would be lots of new admissions at Treliske Hospital about 250 yards further up the road.

    Actually, a red van - although I know what you mean about the white ones!

    I seem to have come out of it unscraped, although it's ripped off the release lever on my shoe - was fun trying to get out of them when I got into the office.
