I saw some of these last week in the Tour and thought "I MUST go and find out the name of that helmet". Anyone got any experience of either the Kompact Pro or the Whisper? The Kompact Pro looks very good for the price, I thought the white one might just go with anything I choose to wear.

I have a Kompact Pro , very impressed with it. Not to bulky, mesh insert at the front to stop the bugs getting in and a smart ratchet system to give you a snug fit.
Also have a Giro Atmos and if I had to choose between the two then the Catlike would win.
    Got mine from www.prendas.co.uk

Does the mesh insert make it hot? I hope not because the Catlike helmet makes my Bell Ghisallo look industrial.

    I don't think so.

The quality of the helmet is far superior to my Giro aswell in my opinion , there was some WOW factor when i opened the box

I used to have a Whisper which was most excellent until I crashed it, I got a Whisper Plus as a replacement, and the newer model just felt cheap in comparison.

I won't be getting another Catlike helmet again.

I have two Kompact Pros amongst a number of helmets - not quite as well vented as more modern designs, but they feel comfortable and secure - they feel like they're around your head, not on top of it. Thinking about getting a Whisper, but really need a crash to justify another one!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
