What's your favourite Tour mountian range?

I was having a good old pub discussion last night as to which out of the Alps or the Pyrenees you most looked forward to, to watch the peloton tackle and battle on, during any given Tour de France.

What say you?

I prefer the Pyrenees mostly because I know them better and watched the Tour there more often but they were a boring disaster this year. Two stages with long downhill run ins after the last climb means no-one who's a serious GC contender attacks. There were a few seconds of excitement when Contandor attacked in Andorra - that's it :x
