Spec Dolce Sizing

I have found a Spec Dolce Elite for my wife but they only have a 54cm frame. The wife is 5'4 and the spec site says that a 54cm frame is suitable for 5'5-5'7. Am I being a bit optimistic thinking she will fit it?

    Probably a bit optimistic, yes. I'm 5'3" and I ride a 48cm Spesh Dolce Elite, a 51 would probably be OK but 54...depends on how your wife's proportioned really, any chance you could get her a test ride on a 54 to try it out?

    That's what I was thinking, I can't get to test it so will possibly look for something else. Thanks for the advice.
