Seems the man who sparked the Giro is next in line for the Thomas Dekker treatment:-

    Interesting.

He'll be a completely unsurprising catch though.

Maybe the alarm bells were set off when they actually discovered some hormones in his sample for once...

Speaking French won't help. It's in Spanish.

You mean you don't think Menchov is clean either? Are we allowed to say that on here?

He's been persistently linked to scandal, rumour and more. Now that's not enough to ban him - but ASO block him from their events - but in cycling, where's there's smoke... there's often a raging inferno (over to Moray Gub to provide the defence, innocent until caught etc  )

Wow. I'm so shocked. How could this possibly be. Someone say it isn't so.

The UCI is investigating some anomalous values of Danilo I gave light up, that were registered in some blood controls during the past Turn of Italy and that they do not agree with the analyses of their biological passport.

I gave light up was one of the large protagonists of the Turn, won two phases of mountain (Castrozza and Pinerolo), dressed the maglia rose during seven days and finished second in the general to only 41 seconds of Menchov.

The Italian cyclist already was a suspect by an anomalous control in the Turn 2007, in which was the winner. The CONI asked two years of sanction, but in the end they absolved him for lack of tests. Yes it was condemned by three months in October of 2007 by its relation with the doctor Carlo Santuccione, inside the operation Oil for Drugs.

Not a perfect translation but you get the gist....

No surprise, but at least it would mean the passport is catching some serious big names out now

My new nickname for Di Luca: "I gave light up"

    gotta love auto-translation.

    Such cynics you are.

Poor Danilo, he's not taken anything illegal. He's simply lived in an Oxygen free bubble with uncle Lance for the last 26 years. During this time he was gifted with magic powers by the EPO fairy.

Menchov must be a great cyclist, powering away to beat a chemically challenged rival like that.

Still, as Austin Powers said when he found out Liberace was gay "I never saw that one coming"

    Dennis Menchov.

Ooooh! That's a nice one Blazing Saddles.

Can we title these threads about passport conclusions and positives differently? I always have a ridiculous mental image when I read "Rider x fingered in control" or "fingered by passport".
