Braithwaite at the bottom of the hill, cycle up to the start of trails or out to Keswick and the Borrowdale Bash or Blencatha/Skiddaw YHA/Whitewater Dash route0 -
We have just come back from a campsite based in the village of Grange in the Borrowdale Valley called Hollow's Farm. Cost £6 per person, you get hot showers which are free!!!! but water for cleaning stuff at the toilet block is cold to get to Whinlatter just travel through to Keswick, turn left at the roundabout and follow the road round until you see the signs for the forest. Should take about 10mins in car, 20 mins bike.0
