wild wales

hihoping to do wild wales but i have a roadwith bike double compact,
and a mountian bike should i 1 put slicks on mountain bike or put a triple on my road bike?

any advise welcome

    depends entirely on your own opinion of your fitness - nothing else....

    If you're not going off road I'd take the road bike. Where in Wales are you planning to go? You may well be ok just using the compact chainset.

    its all road but very hilly some where call church hill but donrt have full route yet ?

    church hill, there's one near Pembroke Dock, and you'll be ok with a road bike with a triple. Don't go with an MTB.

    Mark has got a good point regarding the triple, even if you find you don't need the small ring at least you have it just in case the going gets tough.
