Is it just me or.......

Do bikes have souls ?
No joke, sometimes I ride my beloved trail warrior and everything feels wrong, the gears slip and grind, the suspension feels all wrong and censored and theres noises coming from every moving part, yet I can take out again after doing absolutely nothing to it and it rides like a dream !!
It almost feels like im holding the bike back when it's like that !
I'm sure my bike is a sentient being and it has good and bad rides much like myself

It was a real hoot to read. Had bits like 'me and Buddy went to Moab last fall, buddy wasn't feeling too good and needed a clean.' etc
Basically to this guy 'buddy' was a living thing. Suppose he's right in a weird way. Maybe there's more to our bikes than meets the eye.
How do you reward the steed after a good day's ride? GT85 baby
(just want to say there is no sexual subtext to the above joke, so please don't accuse me of being perverted or having an overactive thyroid (imagination)
I find I care more about the bike then myself quite often.
Normally after a ride I'll just go upstairs and run a nice hot bath. However, once I've put the bike in theres usually not enough room for me..
